Okay, let’s do it!
First of all, let’s fuck my tradition of writing a proper review. My definition of music? Fuck it, Electro Toilet Syndrom (my definition of a great band name) don’t give a fuck and just use an irritating as fuck AND WAY TOO LOUD DRUM COMPUTER, ADD a FeW GuITARS ThAT MIGhT ACtuALLY BE ALRIGHT IN A NorMAL BAND BUT THIs ShiT juST BURiEs THem UnderNEATh TONS oF BEATS. That’s about as annoying to read as this album is to listen to. Actually, their MySpace says they started out without guitars even. Nice. If I were that drum computer, I’d be out of this band in no time, filing a rape suit.
How about garbage disposal vocals or some randomly placed effects LIKE alternatingly TURNING LOUDER and quieter? Or synthies? Well, if it’s annoying, it can’t hurt, right? Of course, no self-respecting avantgarde gore album is complete without a shitload of samples of screaming women and/or scatporn. On that front, Electro Toilet Syndrom truly do not disappoint. There is also one listenable but pointless electronic ambient track towards the end plus the last song is a “brutal” rendition of the Tetris theme. Funny? Yep, very. I had the guys at the Watch Paint Dry Club in stitches with this.
This shit needs to be ignored. Everything else will make these guys think they are producing something worthwhile, funny or provoking just by purposefully making their stuff as annoying as humanly possible. And yes, our policy of covering everything sent to us can be a bit straining at times. Mark one for the team on my beer coaster, please.
